Hercules is a miniature version of a trditional ocean going tugboat with fantail stern and rope bow whiskers also known as "bow pudding". She took two winters to build and as a result of the US design being inch dimensions, the design was changed slightly to accommodate NZ's metric dimensioned wood products.
