Escapada underwent a total refit during 2019. She is now fully renovated and redesigned. Extended curved bow, extended duckboard, all brass has been removed (including nails and screws) and replaced by stainless steel. The inside cabin has been redesigned and new fittings included (Galley, glass holder, engine cover and table.....

The entire deck has been covered with Teak, and front deck has been modified to receive a new winch and vents. New electrical includes, a third battery, new solar panel, new wiring and lights and auxiliaries include even blue underwater lighting .... About seven solid months of work on the hard at a local kiwi fruit farm. The original design was a 1947 Jim Young’s pencil, built in 1949.The
original size was 34’ now extended to 38’.
